It is here that I will examine what the Bible teaches about the “Rapture” of “Born-Again Christians;” the 7 years of “Tribulation” that follows the Rapture; and the “Second Coming” of Jesus Christ that follows the Tribulation. Now, you may be aware that a year ago in the Summer of 2025, I launched my first website (www.therapturein2025.com), where I looked at what the Bible may be saying about the timing of the “Rapture,” the “Second Coming of Jesus,” and the 7 years of “Tribulation” between those two events. Well, as we know, the Rapture didn’t happen in 2025, which leaves this year, 2026, to be the next high-watch year for the unfolding of the “End-Times” events described in the Bible.

So, if we’ve all been wrong in the past when trying to highlight one particular time, should we therefore just accept we can never know for sure and leave it at that.

Well, granted, Jesus did say, “Of that day and hour knoweth no man…….. (Matt 24:36). However, while we might not be able to come up with just that – a day and an hour – I still believe there are many clues in the Bible which we can look into and which point to a series of possible years, and a particular time of year for the Rapture, namely the Autumn.

So, what may those years be, and are we coming to the end of them in 2026? Well, I believe just that: that 2026 is the one remaining most likely year for the Rapture and start of the Tribulation. So, what am I basing it on? It is this: the pattern of the “Creation” in “Genesis.” For it is there that God created everything in 6 days, then rested on the seventh. For I believe (based on 2 Peter 3:8) that the toil of Man will also last for 6 similar “Days,” (i.e. 6,000 years) and that there is a “Rest” following on for another “Day” which is the 1,000-year period of the “Millenium” when Jesus rules and reigns on the Earth for exactly 1,000 years.

Okay, so maybe the year of Christ’s Second Coming could happen soon, but then based on what I’ve just said, don’t we need to know the exact year Adam fell before we can add the 6,000 years and thus come up with the exact year for Christ’s Return? Well, it is here that I want to introduce the Biblical concept of a “Jubilee Year” which occurs every 50 years, for I suggest that Christ died on a Jubilee Year exactly 2,000 years (or 40 Jubilees) before the year of His Second Coming. Thus, if we can discern when Jesus died, we can add 2,000 years (to get to the Second Coming); then take off 7 years – which Daniel 9 tells us is the length of the Tribulation – to get us to the year of a Pre-Trib. Rapture. Well, I did that last year; I took AD 32 as the Crucifixion Year; added 2,000 years to AD 2032 (for the Second Coming), then took off 7 years for the Tribulation. And so thus I arrived at 2025 (2032 – 7 = 2025) for the year of the Rapture. Well, we know it didn’t happen last year (in 2025), so the obvious thing to do is to take the last possible remaining likely year for Christ’s death – which is AD 33 – then re-do the maths. And so, the Second Coming should be in 2033 (2,000 years from the Crucifixion) and a Pre-Trib. Rapture in 2026 (2033 minus 7 years). Hence, there are many people – not just me – who are full of expectation for a Rapture in 2026. But wait! Yes, the Rapture may be in 2026, but I believe if you dig a little deeper into Scripture you will see that Jesus didn’t die in AD 33, but instead in AD 32; also, that the Jubilee Year of His Second Coming is projected to be from Sep 2031 to Sep 2032, (because the Jewish Year begins on Tishrei 1 around Yom Kippur) with the actual day of His Coming being “Yom Kippur” in AD 2031. Thus, if you subtract 7 years from the Fall of AD 2031 you get to AD 2024 and not 2026. So right there we are in one big mess because we know the Tribulation has to last 7 years and that it follows directly on from the Rapture. But wait! Take heart! Because I believe there is a way out – be it only one way – and that is to consider where it says in Rev 8:12, that part of the Tribulation will be shortened by one third. Similarly, Jesus in Matt 24:22 says, “Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” Thus, if God were to shorten each day to 16 hours, then if you start the day-shortening at the right point in the Tribulation, you can shorten the total length from 7 years to 5. Thus, if we take our Second Coming time as being the Fall of 2031 (a Jubilee Year) and we subtract 5 years, we get to the Fall of 2026. Thus, the start of the Tribulation might be after the Rapture in the Fall of 2026.

And so, even though we are no longer maintaining Christ’s death was in AD 33, and His Second Coming in 2033 – like many people I suggest will probably be doing this Autumn in 2026 – we can nevertheless still arrive at the same Pre-Trib. Rapture time in the Fall of this year, namely around Sep 2026.

The Article is called, “The Rapture In 2026: Does The Bible Teach It?” But wait! There is so much more we can glean from the Bible, namely: did Jesus really die in AD 32? What is the evidence? And which years are 50 Year Jubilees; and was the time when Jesus declared He was the Messiah in Luke 4:16-21, was that a “Shemitah” Year? For then there would be both a Jubilee and Shemitah Year coinciding in the year Sep 3031 to Sep 3032, which is the time when the “New Heavens and the New Earth” (Rev Chapter 21) begins.

Also, in my article, I look again at the subject of the “Fig Tree Generation” of Matthew 24:32-34. Plus, there’s also the whole question of how we fit the right number of shortened 16-hour day years between 2026 and 2031, for if we do that, it raises the possibility of God changing the orbits of the Earth around the Sun, and of the Moon around the Earth. Thus, for the new quicker orbits to be stable, the Laws of Physics tell us that the Earth would now have to be 0.756 “Astronomical Units” from the Sun instead of the previous 1.00 “AU.” Also, the Moon would now be closer to the Earth, such that the Moon’s gravitational pull on the Earth would now be 2.26 times greater than it was before. That would then affect the tides on the Earth, plus a closer Earth to the Sun would result in a much hotter Earth as well, with an average global temperature being above 55 degrees Centigrade. For one thing, Earth’s new orbit would now also be close to that of “Venus” (which is 0.72 AU from the Sun). Thus, a close encounter between those two planets could result in a change to the “Tilt” of the Earth’s Axis. It could even become 90 degrees which would result in the temperatures at the poles in the “Summer” being as high as 140 degrees Centigrade! (Remember water boils at 100 degrees.) That would then lead to the catastrophic melting of the “Arctic Ice” in a few hours; the “Greenland Ice Sheet” in a few days: and the entire “Antarctic Ice Sheet” in just a few weeks! And the result? Global sea levels would rise by 70 metres which is 230 feet. Thus, every coastal city and port, plus all of Florida, and the Netherlands, and Bangladesh would be permanently under water. So are there any scriptures to back all this up. Well, there are, and I list them in my article on this website. However, I will quote one major one here: it’s Luke 21:25,26 where Jesus says: “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

It’s also worth noting that the tidal forces of Venus, when close to Earth, would be 6.5 times greater than the Moon is now. For that would result in a massive pull on the Earth’s “crust” leading to greater and more frequent earthquakes. Also, the new 0.756 AU orbit is one where there are many more “asteroids.”

But that is not all my article looks into: there’s also the possible timing of the Rapture being advanced by one month because I believe that we should have taken seriously the reports back in March 2025 (last year) that said the “barley harvest” outside Jerusalem was “not Aviv” (i.e. it was not “ripe). For that should have resulted in there being the possibility of an extra Jewish month being added to the Jewish Calendar. Thus, all the Jewish Feasts this year would then also be affected with the “Feast of Trumpets” (a favoured time of year for the Rapture) now being in October 2026 and not September 2026.

And so, we’ve come a long way from trying just to work out the year of the Second Coming (and from there the Rapture) from the year of Christ’s death. 1. About Us

Hi, my name is “Rupert Raynar,” and I became a “believer” and “follower” of Jesus Christ after a dramatic “evangelical” conversion experience in the Summer of 1996. Please Click Here to discover more about how I was saved.

2. Aim of Website

So, what is the “Aim” and “Purpose” of this website? In order to find out more behind the reason for it, please Click Here. As for the answer to that question, it is basically twofold:

First, to look at “Scripture,” to discern on what year Jesus was crucified. For then, we may be able to infer a likely year for Christ’s “Second Coming,” and from there, the year for the start of the 7-year-long Tribulation period, as well as the “Rapture” of “Believers.”

Second, I wanted to take the opportunity offered by the presence of the website, to share the “Gospel” of how a person can be “saved”. For the “Bible” teaches that it is only “saved,” “Born-Again Christians,” who will be the ones actually going to “Heaven” in the Rapture.

So does my “Article” contain anything new you may ask? Well, as I mentioned in the “Introduction” to this website, I believe the Bible has far more to say than most people realise. For, it is that “Book” only, that speaks with authority regarding future “End-Times” events. For I believe Scripture really does contain clues as to the timing of a possible window for the Rapture and start of the Tribulation. And so, if you would like to know more, then please, by all means, look at the said Article, as it may be of interest.
